Authorizer
Our Authorizer
Charter School are required by Minnnesota statute to have an authorizer. The school authorizer is approved by the MN Department of Education to help bring charter schools into existence and hold them accountable to the state.
Our authorizer, Osprey Wilds Environmenal Learning Center, provides oversight in order to ensure we fulfill our purposes and responsibilities as public charter school in the state of Minnesota, as well as honor the obligations agreed upon in our contract with Osprey Wilds. This is achieved through regular monitoring and oversight, as well as comprehensive performance evaluations of schools which ultimately inform reauthorization decisions.
